I’ve introduced this book to two of my book clubs, and led both discussions. I was amazed to find that some people did not like WFE. I’ve read it four times and each time, I cry on page 13 and I find more deep meanings about the nature of truth. I have never read anywhere that Gruen was aiming for any thread about truth, but I cannot believe that she did that by accident. Will try to catch this discussion, one of my all-time favorites, can’t wait for the movie!

We read this book for our book club several years ago. It provided a great dicussion and was liked by all. I’m looking forward to the movie and to my inaugural Algonquin book event on April, 26th!

What a fabulous idea to have webcast discussions of great books and their authors. I am grateful, as always, to the outstanding offerings of Books and Books for those of us living in the Miami area.
