Kathryn Stockett, author of The Help, will interview Sara Gruen about her international bestseller, Water for Elephants. I’ve introduced this book to two of my book clubs, and led both discussions. I was amazed to find that some people did not like WFE. I’ve read it four times and each time, I cry on page 13 and I find more deep meanings about the nature of truth. I have never read anywhere that Gruen was aiming for any thread about truth, but I cannot believe that she did that by accident. Will try to catch this discussion, one of my all-time favorites, can’t wait for the movie!

We read this book for our book club several years ago. It provided a great dicussion and was liked by all. I’m looking forward to the movie and to my inaugural Algonquin book event on April, 26th!
